We extend our sincere congratulations to Alireza Madannejad, Mohammad Mehrabi Gohar, Umer Shah, and Joachim Oberhammer, for their paper entitled "Passive Beam-Steering of High-Gain THz Planar Lens Antenna by Frequency-Orthogonal Spatial Spreading" which has been awarded with the 2026 IEEE AP-S Harold A. Wheeler Application Prize Paper Award.
The award-winning paper, that was published in the November 2025 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, presents a high-gain planar terahertz lens antenna with frequency-controlled beam steering, enabling efficient multibeam operation across a wide field of view without the complexity of conventional phased-array systems.

The Harold A. Wheeler Applications Prize Paper Award is presented to the authors of the best application paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation during the previous year.
