Waves of Support – Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators Today!!

To secure and build on the current state of AP-S, the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Talent Development Fund seeks to raise $1.5 million in a special campaign. IEEE will match donations dollar for dollar, per IEEE Financial Operations guidelines, enabling AP-S to double its impact and ultimately secure $3 million in total funding. The AP-S Talent Development Fund promises to generate Waves of Support to empower tomorrow’s innovators today, amplifying opportunities for tomorrow’s pioneers in the field, and paving the way for new and exciting exploration.

WHAT INITIATIVES DOES THE TALENT DEVELOPMENT FUND SUPPORT?

  2. IEEE AP-S Fellowship Program (for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows)
  3. Student Paper Competitions

WHAT IS THE “WAVES OF SUPPORT: EMPOWERING TOMORROW’S INNOVATORS TODAY” CAMPAIGN?

WAVES of SUPPORT: EMPOWERING TOMORROW’S INNOVATORS TODAY is a 24-month fundraising effort that seeks to raise $1.5 million in donations and pledges for the IEEE AP-S Talent Development Fund. With prior approval, and adhering to IEEE Financial Operations rules, IEEE may generously match donations dollar for dollar, enabling AP-S to double its impact and ultimately secure $3 million in total funding.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN?

The Fund is managed by IEEE’s philanthropic partner, IEEE Foundation.

CAN I MAKE A MULTI-YEAR PLEDGE?

Yes, your donation can be pledged over 3 to 5 years, with pledge payments due at least once a year. The IEEE Foundation professional team will work with you to craft a letter of intent (LOI) or gift agreement depending on the amount and complexity of your gift.
