Triple your impact to the AP-S Talent Development Fund during IEEE Giving Tuesday
In celebration of Giving Tuesday 2025, the IEEE AP-S Talent Development Fund (TDF) is accepting donations starting now through December 2nd. This year, the first US$75,000 donated to the #IEEEGivingTuesday campaign will be matched dollar for dollar by the IEEE Foundation. Additionally, all donations made to the TDF during the Giving Tuesday drive will qualify for an extra dollar-for-dollar match through the AP-S Operating Surplus.

Through its proactive Talent Development Fund, AP-S aims to build the talent pipeline in the dynamic field of antennas and propagation for generations to come. Help us attract, nurture, and develop global talent in the AP field by supporting essential talent-engagement opportunities, including: student travel grants to AP-S sponsored conferences; the AP-S fellowship program for graduate and postdoctoral fellows; student design competitions; AP-S Young Professional Ambassador and Distinguished Lecturer programs; AP-S summer school programs; and humanitarian technology projects.

To secure and build on the current state of AP-S, the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Talent Development Fund seeks to raise $1.5 million in a special campaign. IEEE will match donations dollar for dollar, per IEEE Financial Operations guidelines, enabling AP-S to double its impact and ultimately secure $3 million in total funding. The AP-S Talent Development Fund promises to generate Waves of Support to empower tomorrow’s innovators today, amplifying opportunities for tomorrow’s pioneers in the field, and paving the way for new and exciting exploration.

WHAT IS THE “WAVES OF SUPPORT: EMPOWERING TOMORROW’S INNOVATORS TODAY” CAMPAIGN?
WAVES of SUPPORT: EMPOWERING TOMORROW’S INNOVATORS TODAY is a 24-month fundraising effort that seeks to raise $1.5 million in donations and pledges for the IEEE AP-S Talent Development Fund. With prior approval, and adhering to IEEE Financial Operations rules, IEEE may generously match donations dollar for dollar, enabling AP-S to double its impact and ultimately secure $3 million in total funding.

CAN I MAKE A MULTI-YEAR PLEDGE?
Yes, your donation can be pledged over 3 to 5 years, with pledge payments due at least once a year. The IEEE Foundation professional team will work with you to craft a letter of intent (LOI) or gift agreement depending on the amount and complexity of your gift.
