
Hervé Aubert

Hervé Aubert was born in Toulouse, France, in July 1966. He received the Dipl.-Ing. and Ph.D. degrees (with high honors) in electrical engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute (INPT), Toulouse, France, in 1989 and 1993, respectively. Since February 2001, he has been a Professor at INPT and, since 2006, a researcher at the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS-CNRS). His research focuses on electromagnetic modeling of complex multiscale structures and the design of passive millimeter-wave circuits and wireless sensors. He has authored over 340 publications and holds nine international patents. He served as General Chairman of the European Microwave Week 2015 and currently serves as Subject Editor-in-Chief of Electronics Letters.

Peiqin Liu

Peiqin Liu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2019. Since 2019, he has been with the National University of Singapore, where he initially served as a Research Fellow and was promoted to Research Assistant Professor in 2024. His current research interests include metamaterials, antenna theory, and artificial intelligence for electromagnetics, with a particular focus on the development of novel metasurfaces and antenna arrays using deep learning techniques.
Dr. Liu has authored and co-authored more than 50 technical papers published in international journals and conference proceedings and holds five granted Chinese patents. His honors include the Young Scientist Award at the 2026 URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (URSI GASS), the Best Poster Award at the AI for Science and Nobel Turing Challenge Initiative (AI4Sci/NTCI) Conference in 2024, the Young Antenna Scientist Award at the 2023 Singapore Workshop on Antennas (SWA), the Top Reviewer recognition from the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, and the Outstanding Reviewer Award from the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.
Dr. Liu has been actively involved with the IEEE Singapore RFID Chapter since 2022 and has served as its Chair in 2025. He has also contributed to the organization of several international conferences, including IEEE APCAP, IEEE RFAT, and the Marina Forum, serving in roles such as Organizing Committee Member, Publicity Chair, and Technical Program Committee Member.

Sen Yan

Sen Yan (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor's and master's degrees from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, in 2015. In 2015, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with KU Leuven. In August and September 2016, he was a Visiting Researcher with The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA. Since 2017, he has been a Full Professor with Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has authored and co-authored more than 180 international journal articles and 150 conference contributions.
His current research is focused on wearable and implantable antennas, reconfigurable and diversity antennas, and microwave biosensors. Dr. Yan received the "Young Talent Support Plan" of Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2017, the Young Scientist Award of International Union of Radio Science (URSI) in 2019, and the Young Scientist Award of PhotonIcs and Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS) in 2024. He was successful in achieving the Post-Doctoral Fellowship from KU Leuven and FWO in 2015 and 2016, respectively. He has been serving as the editor of Bioelectromagnetics in Medicine from 2025. He is a Top Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation from 2020 to 2024 and an Outstanding Reviewer of IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters from 2023 to 2025.

Oskar Zetterstrom

Oskar Zetterstrom received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and PhD. degrees in electrical and electromagnetic engineering from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2016, 2019, and 2024, respectively. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at KTH and Cambridge University working on instrumentation for radio astronomy, and he is involved in the developments for SKA and REACH telescopes. He has authored or coauthored over 70 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. Oskar’s research interests include radio astronomy, lens antennas, periodic structures and leaky wave antennas and he received the Per-Simon Kildal award 2025 and the Best Antenna Technology Paper Award at EuCAP 2022 for his works.
Dr. Zetterstrom has been a member of IEEE for 9 years. He is also a member of the EurAAP working group for Early Careers in Antennas and Propagation (ECAP), where he is responsible for the ECAP mentoring program.
