This Special Issue highlights recent advances in the analytical, physical, and data-driven modeling of complex electromagnetic media. It brings together emerging approaches based on artificial intelligence, physics-informed methods, metasurfaces and metamaterials, and advanced computational techniques for the modeling, design, characterization, and optimization of challenging electromagnetic systems. The contributions illustrate the growing synergy between electromagnetic theory, computational methods, and data-driven approaches in addressing complex engineering problems.
