Christos Christodoulou on bringing intelligence in antenna design

28 APRIL 2021

In the first episode of OJAP TALKS, Christos Christodoulou, a true pioneer of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in electromagnetics, engages in a conversation with Sotirios Goudos, the lead Guest-Editor of the IEEE OJAP Special Section on “Computational Intelligence in Antennas and Propagation: Emerging Trends and Applications”, around the incredible advances enabled by AI in antenna design and propagation modelling. They describe how machine learning has become the key enabler for applications like smart radio environments and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, and discuss the ways in which the antenna engineer can adapt to current and emerging AI trends.
