The Editorial Board of the IEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation (OJAP) is looking for proposals for special sections on topics relevant to an emerging field of growing interest.

IEEE OJAP Special Sections constitute collections of articles that focus on particular areas of the AP-S field of interest, in more depth and breadth. Special Sections are created by Associate Editors and Guest Editors, once their proposal is accepted by an IEEE OJAP Editorial Committee. Each Special Section includes an editorial that introduces the collection of (four or more) articles on the topic. Completed Special Sections are grouped together on the IEEE Xplore® digital library. More information can be found here [https://ieeeaps.org/prospective-guest-editors]

Special Section proposals will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and should include the following information:

  • The proposed title of the special section
  • A list of guest editors and their affiliations, contact emails, and biographies
  • A description of the proposed special section that should be included in the call for papers. It should also address the importance and relevance of the proposed section for the Antennas and Propagation Society
  • A tentative list of contributors, with an explanation for the capability to attract an appropriate number of high-quality contributions
