- Each issue of the IEEE Journal on Selected Topics in Electromagnetics, Antennas and Propagation (JSTEAP) targets a selected topic for which a Call-for-Papers has been published. These Call-for-Papers are published on the JSTEAP website. Manuscript submissions not related to the Call-for-Papers will be rejected as being out of scope. In addition, all submissions must be submitted as directed in the Call-for-Papers.
- Manuscripts submitted to JSTEAP should be concisely written and should not exceed 12 double-column single-spaced pages (10-point font size, 1-inch margin on all sides) including the title, names of the authors and their complete contact information, abstract, index terms, text, equations, figures, tables, appendices if any, and all references. Figures and tables should be placed along with the text, rather than at the end of the paper. Official templates can be accessed in IEEE Template Selector (LaTeX and Word). You will need to click “IEEE Template Selector” and follow the instructions for the template you need. Revised manuscripts are limited to 15 pages. On an exceptional basis the first submission can also be 15 pages with prior permission from the Editor-in-Chief.

Open Access
JSTEAP is 100% open access, so that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. All articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 license, and the author retains copyright. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, as long as proper attribution is given.
Open access is provided through the payment of an article processing charge (APC) paid after acceptance. APCs are often financed by an author’s institution or the funder supporting their research.
The articles in this journal are peer reviewed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual (sections 8.2.1.C & 8.2.2.A). Each published article was reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-anonymous peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known to the authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance.
Corresponding authors from low income countries are eligible for waived or reduced APCs.
