About the M3 Lab: The Microwave, Millimetre-wave, and MetaDevices (M3) Laboratory is located within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta in beautiful Edmonton, Canada. The M3 Lab is fully equipped with an array of microwave and antenna design, fabrication, and test facilities, including a planar/cylindrical/spherical near-field anechoic chamber up to 40 GHz and laser-based precision PCB fabrication. The Director of the M3 Lab is one of its founders, Prof. Ashwin K. Iyer. The lab's presence continues to grow with major infrastructure efforts and new funding from commercial and defence partners.
