The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) established a new award to increase women’s visibility at the annual IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting. The grant is named after our late colleague Prof. Mojgan Daneshmand, whose research achievements and commitments to the Antennas and Propagation Society are a model to promote women.

AP-S awarded the 2023 Mojgan Daneshmand Grant of $1,500 to these 12 members, enabling them to participate in person at the 2023 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting. The event will take place 23-28 July 2023 in Portland, Oregon, USA. In addition to the grant, the registration fee and banquet ticket are covered. The selection committee was led by Prof. Claire Migliaccio, Chair of AP-S DEI Committee.
