On 15 August 2026 IEEE AP-S TC3 held a Workshop co-organised with URSI Commission F on “Propagation and Channel Modelling for Standardisation” just before URSI GASS in Krákow, Poland. For standardisation and regulation, propagation and channel models are key for the development of wireless standards. A total of eight speakers presented the channel modeling activities of various SDOs and identified synergies among these various complementary activities. A major outcome of the workshop is, that these synergies will exploited in follow-up activities. The workshop was well-attended with more than 40 participants from all over the world. At the main conference TC3 organized a Special Session with 10 papers on “Measurements & Channel Characterisation for mmWave and THz Communication”. The session was organized by Slawomir Ambroziak, Ke Guan and Thomas Kürner and took place on 20 August 2026.
