At the 2026 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas & Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting taking place on 12 - 17 July 2026 at Detroit, Michigan, USA IEEE AP-S TC3 Propagation and Scattering has organized two Special Sessions.
The Special Session on "Channel modeling and antenna/array developments for UAVs" has been organized jointly with IEEE AP-S TC2 and the EuRAAP WG Propagation by Vignesh Manohar, PhoenixAI Technologies Inc., Canada, Lorenzo Luini, Politecnico di Milan, Italy and Thomas Kürner, TU Braunschweig, Germany. The session with a total of 8 papers has been chaired by Vignesh Manohar and Francesco Capelletti, Politecnico di Milan, Italy.
The Special Session on "Channel Characterisation for Mobility" has been organized jointly organized with the IEEE VTS Propagation Committee by David Matolak, University of South Carolina, USA, Carlos Gutierrez, Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Ke Guan, Beijing Jiaotong University, China and Thomas Kürner, TU Braunschweig Germany. The session with a total of 5 papers has been chaired by Thomas Kürner.
