Dear Members of the Antennas and Propagation Society,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Prof. Safavi-Naeini this morning. Prof. Safavi was an icon in the field of electromagnetics, an esteemed colleague, and a close friend to many of us. His contributions to our community and in particular to the Antennas and Propagation Society were countless and his impact will be long-lasting. I will share more details and any arrangements as soon as we know more. Our heart-felt condolences go, first and foremost, to his family, but also to all of his friends ad colleagues. May his soul rest in peace.
